110 flat tires so far! We started with 300 spares so we know how many flats we have had because we have 190 tires left.
Our state has an official state tree. It is called the Buckeye Tree because it has seeds (called Buckeye Nuts) that look like a deer’s eyes.

We are always excited to hear from you on our blog and to hear about all your classroom activities.
We do not have lucky charms, but we carry things that remind of us the people we love. We carry the Oswalt Eagle and we think of you on our journey. The Oswalt Eagle is about to meet our Buckeye Nation... The land of The Ohio State University.
Hope you are having a great day.

Sarah wants to know how you celebrated turning 70. Stephanie asks Larry, "Do you feel good about biking and exercising?" Tyler says, "Good job, Larry!" Benjamin had his birthday and wants you to know that his grandpa is 97, but he has not biked across the United States. Bobby asks Larry, "How many years have you dreamed of biking across America? Mia asks, "How did everyone like riding back to Ohio State? Was it like a reunion?" Jake wants to know if anyone saw their own houses in Ohio. WAY TO GO RIDERS!! YOU'RE ALMOST THERE! ReplyDeleteHi Lisa! I loved the information about the buckeyes....didn't know any of that! I love learning new things.
ReplyDeleteAs you see, the kids were quite amazed that Larry is riding across America at age 70! Way to go!
I am so thrilled for all of you as you near your goal. You must be beside yourselves to see the end in sight! What endurance! I'm telling your story where ever I go now!
Love,
Marianne
